Water collection, treatment and supply
The company is engaged in the provision of water treatment and distribution services in Valencia, Spain. It is responsible for the exploitation and the maintenance of Pinedo's Wastewater Treatment Plant. It manages and exploits two treatment plants: The EDAR I and The EDAR II. All the sewage goes through the pre-treatment, primary, biological, secondary and tertiary treatment. The quality of the purified water that comes out of both plants are suitable to be sent to the crop fields as irrigation water, to The Albufera and the sea. Currently, about one third of the "black water" that is generated in the Valencian Community is purified by the company's facilities. The company, with registered head office located in Valencia, Spain, was incorporated in December 1986.
