The company is a holding enterprise which is primarily engaged in the acquisition and management of real estate for the Electra group. It was incorporated in December of 1946 and has its registered head office located in Valencia, Spain. The company's subsidiaries include: Compania Valenciana de Aluminio Baux S.L., which is an aluminium mini-mill that manufactures aluminium coils for supply to Bancolor and therefore provides integration of both processes, aluminium coil production and coating; Bancolor Sociedad Limitada, started production in 1993, through the Valencian business group Inmobiliaria Electra; and Aluplex S.L., which is a company gradually consolidating in the domestic and international profiling market in order to offer the solutions for the enclosing of open spaces with shutters and ceilings, both indoor and outdoors.
