Hospital activities

The company is engaged in the operation and management of a hospital known as 9 de Octubre Hospital. It was incorporated in November 1988 and is based in Valencia, Spain. The 9 de Octubre Hospital has 300 beds: 276 in hospital rooms, 12 in adult ICU (Intensive Care Unit), 10 in children's ICU, and 12 in neonatal care. It covers all branches of medicine and surgery, and has all the necessary technology. Its recent purchase of a PET (Positron Emission Tomography) unit has made its Nuclear Medicine Unit one of the best equipped in the country. The hospital is part of The NISA group, a Spanish private health services group which is composed of seven hospitals.
